Are your flags made in the USA?

Yes! Unlike some competitors, our flags and products are proudly made in the USA. Manufacturing and assembly take place in Nebraska and California, with a strong emphasis on supporting American workers and maintaining the highest production standards.

Have your products been tested for Prop 65?

Yes, our products comply with Proposition 65 regulations, ensuring they meet safety standards.

  • Bulk Orders: If your order exceeds 150 pounds, we pass along our freight discount to you.
  • Commercial Address: Shipping to a commercial address is less expensive than to a residential address.

Do you ship overseas?

We do ship internationally; however, our paint products are classified as hazardous materials and cannot be shipped overseas. For international shipping inquiries, please contact our customer service for assistance.

When will my order ship?

Shipping times vary based on the product:

  • Plain Flags: Ship the same day or the following business day.
  • Printed Flags: Ship within 5-10 days, depending on the time of year.

How many flags ship in a box?

Our standard packaging includes 1,000 flags per box. For orders of less than 1,000 flags, the quantity per box will correspond to the order size.

Can you mail product samples?

Yes, we can mail product samples directly to you; however, some products may not be eligible. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

How can I receive a catalog in the mail?

New customers receive a catalog upon request while existing customers are mailed a catalog at the beginning of each year.

Do you offer discount codes?

Yes, we provide discount codes during promotional sales and notify customers via email with the relevant code.

Arts & Graphics

What file types do you need for logos or graphics?

We accept high-resolution files in the following formats: .ai, .eps, .pdf, .jpg, .tiff, and .png. For optimal print quality, vector files (.ai or .eps) are preferred.

How do I send my logo?

You can upload your logo during the online ordering process. Alternatively, you can email your artwork to sales@blackburnflag.com with your order details.

What if I don’t have an electronic file?

If you don’t have an electronic version of your logo, please contact our customer service team for assistance. We can help you digitize your logo for printing purposes.

How long do you keep my logo?

We store your logo and artwork files for future orders, ensuring consistency and convenience for repeat purchases. Custom screens not reordered within 6 years are removed from our files.

Will I get a proof for my new design before it is printed?

Yes, we provide a digital proof for your approval before printing to ensure accuracy and satisfaction with your custom design.

Can you print on both sides of the vinyl flag?

We offer double-sided printing for Field Flags, BMC Marking Signs, and Rigid Markers, allowing your message to be visible from both sides. We do not offer double-sided printing on vinyl flags.

Can you do two-color print on the vinyl flags?

We can print up to two colors on poly flag, BMC signs or rigid markers. We cannot two-color print on vinyl flags.

How big is the size of the print area?

The print area for our vinyl flags are 2″x 2″, 3″x3″, or 4″x4″, depending on the size of the flag.

Do you have generic pesticide application flags and signs?

Yes, we offer a range of generic pesticide application flags and signs that meet industry standards. You can view our selection on our Pesticide Flags and Signs page.

Can the field flags be printed on both sides?

Yes, our field flags can be printed on both sides upon request, enhancing visibility from multiple directions. The fluorescent orange field flags cannot have two-sided printing.

Is there a fee for color change on screens?

No, there is no charge for changing the ink or flag color.

What sizes are available?

What is the set-up fee?

The set-up fee for BMC Signs and Banners is $25 charge for one-color printing and $25 for a second color. For detailed pricing, contact our team for a custom quote.

Are the black step stakes included with the signs?

Yes, black step stakes are included with your BMC Marking Signs order for easy installation. If you need additional stakes or have specific requirements, we can accommodate your request.

Can we buy the stakes separately?

Absolutely! You can purchase black step stakes separately if needed. They are available in standard sizes designed to fit perfectly with our signs. Visit our accessories page for more information.

What are the ink colors?

We offer a wide range of vibrant ink colors to make your signs stand out. Readily available colors include Black, green, orange, blue, red, yellow, purple, pink, maroon and brown. More ink colors for signs are available upon request.

Whether you need standard colors or specific Pantone matches, we can accommodate your design. Our high-quality UV-resistant inks ensure your signs remain bright and clear.

How long do the signs last once posted?

BMC Signs are made from durable, weather-resistant materials designed for outdoor use. Depending on the time of year and location, our signs are only temporary which means they usually last anywhere from 1-3 months.

What is the difference between BMC Signs & BMC Value Signs?

They are both weather coated cardstock material but sold in different quantities.
The value signs are limited to customization and are folded for posting.
The BMC signs are completely customizable and are not folded for posting.
Both options include the same high-quality design process and excellent customer support.

Rigid Markers

What sizes are available?

Our standard sizes for rigid markers are 4″x5″ and 5″x5″. We also offer custom sizes upon request. Give us a call at 1-866-862-6759 for rigid corrugated signs.

What are the available ink colors?

Can you print full color?

Yes, we can print full-color and two-sided designs on our rigid markers, allowing for vibrant and detailed graphics to meet your branding needs.

What sign colors are available?

Our rigid markers are available in white and yellow.

What is the set-up fee?

There is a one-time set-up fee of $25 for new designs. If a different print is used for the second side, an additional $25 fee applies.

Are the Rigid Markers sold with stakes?

Yes, our rigid markers are sold with stakes included, ensuring easy installation upon delivery.

What material is used for rigid marker signs?

Rigid markers are made from durable corrugated plastic, ensuring they withstand various outdoor conditions and maintain their appearance over time.

What is banner style vs flag style?

Each bundle contains 100 marking flags.

Can you mix & match colors for printed flags?

Yes, you can order different colors per 1,000 marking flags. For quantities of 500 flags, there is a $5.00 charge per different color.

What is the difference between the vinyl and poly flags?

Vinyl flags are 4 mil thick, while poly flags are 3 mil and glossy. Poly flags offer long-term dependability.

What is the minimum order for poly flags?

The minimum order for poly flags is 4,000. Ordering less incurs a $20.00 specialty fee. Please call for details at 1-866-862-6759.

What material is the staff for the field flags?

Field flag staffs are made of durable fiberglass, ensuring longevity and resilience in various conditions.

Can you order pennants without staffs?

What is the lead time for field flags?

The standard lead time for plain field flags is 7-10 business days. The standard lead time for printed field flags is around 2 weeks.

What is the minimum order for printed field flags?

The minimum order for custom printed field flags is 100 flags.

Can we buy flag staffs separately?

Yes, flag staffs can be purchased separately. Please contact us for more information.

What flags are the best choice for marking in cold weather?

Poly flags! Blackburn’s high-gloss poly flags are made from 3mm polyethylene that stays flexible and strong well below freezing. Unlike PVC, which cracks around 32°F, these flags resist snapping, curling, and fading, making them ideal for winter use.

What makes Blackburn’s poly flags more durable than standard marking flags?

Each flag is constructed from high-density polyethylene vinyl and heat-sealed to the wire staff for maximum strength. This design prevents splitting and detachment, even in extreme cold, helping them last longer and reducing replacement costs.

Marking Paint

What are Blackburn’s shipping costs for paint orders?

For orders of 35 cases or more, Blackburn offers free freight. For orders between 10 to 34 cases, the shipping cost will be $125.00 or less. If we can ship it cheaper than $125.00, we will ship it directly from Blackburn’s facility instead of drop shipping from Krylon.

How can I qualify for free shipping on paint orders at Blackburn?

To qualify for free shipping on paint orders, you must purchase a minimum of 35 cases from Blackburn.
